Research Areas: psychology of group coordination, group adaptation for collective performance, employee engagement in an organizational change context Stavros Georgiades is Professor W2 of Management at the Stuttgart Media University (Visiting Post), Assistant Professor of Management at Frederick University, and a research collaborator of the University of Digital Science Berlin. He holds a PhD in Management from the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. His research focuses on the psychology of group coordination, group adaptation for collective performance, and employee engagement in an organizational change context. Stavros has carried out research work with European, US and Brazilian media organizations, including Globo (Brazil), Channel 4 (UK), and Sonicbids (USA). He has authored the monographs Organization Management – Dynamic Creative Coordination, Springer 2022 and Employee Engagement in Media Management – Creativeness and Organizational Development, Springer 2015 and has published several scientific papers in academic journals. Stavros currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Media Management and Entrepreneurship (IGI Global) and is one of the Editors of the 2021 Special Issue for the Journal of Media Business Studies (Taylor & Francis). He served as a Board member at the European Media Management Association and was the Chair of the 2019 European Media Management Association Conference. He regularly engages in professional events like the Annual International Entrepreneurship Education Summit of the Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Stuttgart Media University where he evaluates ideas for start-up businesses, and is also a member of the CREAM (Creative Industries and Media Society) Research Centre at the Stuttgart Media University. In the past he served to the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC), and the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom of the European University Institute. He also worked as a Business Consultant in London for several years, his clients including the BBC.
