Dr Nicos Keravnos completed his basic studies at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of University of Ioannina, where he was awarded his BA. He then pursued postgraduate studies, firstly at the University of Birmingham, where he received a Master's degree (Med Mathematics and Science) and following at Frederick University, from which he graduated with a doctorate in Education (PhD) in the domain of Educational Leadership. As a member of Frederick Collaborating Academic Stuff he has taught subject DLEDA 051 ‘Educational Leadership Theories’ during the academic year 2018-2019 and currently teaches subject DLEDA 103 ‘Educational Policy and Educational Change’ in the frame of Med in Educational Management (Long Distance). In relation to his professional experience, he is currently a Deputy Head Teacher in Primary Education. He has also participated and coordinated a number programs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth. His general research interests focuses on the scientific field of Educational Leadership, and his particular area of interest focuses primarily on leadership theories, effective leadership, trust in leadership, and issues of educational policy and change in the school unit. He has presented at local and international conferences, and he is currently under the procedure of publishing at relevant scientific journals.
