Dr. Charalambos Avgousti

Short CV

Charalambos Avgousti holds a PhD in Comparative Education with emphasis in Citizenship Education and MA in Higher Education from Northeast Normal University, China, an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Central Lancashire, and B.Ed. in Primary Education from Frederick University. Since 2019 he has been working in the private sector with the duties of sales operations controller and digital marketing, and from February 2021 he has taken on the duties of collaborating academic staff, in postgraduate courses of distance learning offered by the Department of Educational Sciences on Educational Research. His research interests focus on citizenship education and peace education.

Ο Χαράλαμπος Αυγουστή είναι κάτοχος Διδακτορικού διπλώματος (PhD) στη Συγκριτική Εκπαίδευση και μεταπτυχιακού διπλώματος (ΜΑ) στην Ανώτατη Εκπαίδευση από το Northeast Normal University, Κίνα, μεταπτυχιακό στην Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων (MBA) από το University of Central Lancashire, όπως επίσης και πτυχίο στην Πρωτοβάθμια Εκπαίδευση από το Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick. Από το 2019 εργάζεται στον ιδιωτικό τομέα με καθήκοντα ελεγκτή λειτουργιών πωλήσεων και ψηφιακό μάρκετινγκ, και από το Φεβρουάριο του 2021 έχει αναλάβει καθήκοντα ΣΕΠ, σε μαθήματα μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης που προσφέρονται από το Τμήμα Επιστημών της Αγωγής σχετικά με την Εκπαιδευτική Έρευνα. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στην αγωγή του πολίτη και εκπαίδευση για την ειρήνη.
