Dr Eleni Tsolaki is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Maritime Transport and Commerce at Frederick University in Cyprus. She obtained a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Patras in Greece, and an MSc in Statistical Analysis and Stochastic Processes as well as a PhD in Statistics from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in the U.K. The research carried out in her Ph.D. thesis was in the area of time series analysis. She has published a number of scientific papers in the areas of time series and its applications as well as in applied statistics and mathematics. She has many years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Statistics in Universities in the United Kingdom and Greece.
