Dr. George Michaelides is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Frederick University in Cyprus. He teaches courses in the Department of Civil Engineering in the School of Engineering. His academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in water quality, an M. Phil, an M.Sc. in Environmental Management, a Master in Education, and a B.Sc. (Hons.) and a Diploma in Civil Engineering. The research dissertations at Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Sc. and B.Sc. level were water - related. As concerns the professional qualifications of Dr. G. Michaelides, he is - among others - a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and a Chartered Scientist. His research interests include water supply, water quality, water management in an area, water engineering education and water re-use.
