Ο Γιώργος Γεωργίου είναι μέλος του Ειδικού Διδακτικού Προσωπικού στο Τμήμα Επιστημών Ζωής και Υγείας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick και ασκεί επικουρικό διδακτικό έργο στο πτυχίο Φυσικής Αγωγής και Αθλητισμού στο μάθημα της Διδακτικής της καλαθόσφαιρας. Ο Γιώργος Γεωργίου είναι κάτοχος Πτυχίου στην Φυσική Αγωγή και τον Αθλητισμό από το Semelweis University/Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science της Βουδαπέστης, Ουγγαρία και Μεταπτυχιακού στη Διοίκηση Υπηρεσιών Μονάδων Υγείας (Health Units Management) από το Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick. Είναι ο Υπεύθυνος του Αθλητικού Γραφείου του Πανεπιστημίου στη Λευκωσία και ενός από τους κλάδους σπουδών” Εκπαιδευτής Αεροβικής Γυμναστικής και Fitness”. Το 2014 έλαβε μέρος σαν ομιλητής στο Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριο Υγείας που έγινε στην Αθήνα με τίτλο έρευνας « Οι επιπτώσεις της φυσικής αγωγής στην τρίτη ηλικία εν καιρώ κρίσης». Είναι ένα από τους κριτές της Ευρωπαϊκής Ομοσπονδίας Fitness (WABBA). Έχει λάβει μέρος στην Πρώτη Ολυμπιακή Ακαδημία σαν αντιπρόσωπος της Κυπριακής αποστολής, για τους 1st European Games at Baku. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε αρκετά Ευρωπαϊκά και Παγκόσμια Πρωταθλήματα ως Court Manager. Διαχειρίζεται και οργανώνει τις αθλητικές ομάδες , τους αθλητικούς ομίλους και τις αθλητικές εξορμήσεις .Ειναι ο διδάσκων στο Πανεπιστήμιο και το Κολλέγιο με θεματολογία, Didactic of Ball Sports (Basketball), Specialization Basketball I & II, ,Paramedic Crew Diploma: Gym and worker/Paramedic Wellness.

Giorgos Georgiou is a member of the Special Teaching Staff in the Department of Life and Health Sciences at Frederick University and carries out adjunct teaching work in the degree of Physical Education and Sports in the course of Didactics of basketball. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical education and Sports, from the Semelweis University/Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science of Budapest, Hungary, and a Master of Health Units Management from the University of Frederic. Is the Manager of the Sports Office of the University, but he was also the coordinator of "Instructor for aerobics and Fitness". The 2014 took part as a speaker at the National Conference of Health, held in Athens entitled "The impact of the research of physical education in the third age during crisis". It is one of the judges of the European Federation of Fitness (WABBA). He has participated in the first Olympic Academy as a representative of the Cyprus mission, for the 1st European Games at Baku. He has participated in several European and World Championships as a Court Manager. Is the Task Manager but also one of teachers on curriculum in University and College level in Didactic of Ball Sports (Basketball), Specialization Basketball I & II, Paramedic Crew Diploma: Gym and worker/Paramedic Wellness.
