O Δρ. Κωνσταντίνος Γαρδίκης είναι Φαρμακοποιός και εργάζεται ως Διευθυντής Έρευνας και Ανάπτυξης της APIVITA. Ασχολείται κύρια με την έρευνα και ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων α’ υλών και τελικών προϊόντων φυσικών καλλυντικών και συμπληρωμάτων διατροφής καθώς και με τη νομοθετική τους κατοχύρωση. Στην APIVITA εργάζεται από το 2013, ως Research & Development Director ενώ είχε τη θέση του Scientific Affairs Director από το 2014 έως το 2019. Έχει εργαστεί επίσης ως διευθυντής και συνιδιοκτήτης 2 φαρμακείων. Σπούδασε Φαρμακευτική στη Φαρμακευτική Σχολή Αθηνών, από όπου έλαβε επίσης MSc στη Βιομηχανική Φαρμακευτική και PhD στη Φαρμακευτική Νανοτεχνολογία. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε σε διάφορους ακαδημαϊκούς φορείς, ενδεικτικά: Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών, ΙΙΒΕΑ, Centre National de Recherche Scientifique - Grenoble, France, Universita degli Studi di Milano - Italy, University of Lodz - Poland, Universidad Complutense de Madrid – Spain, Instituto Andaluz de Investigación y Formación Agraria, Pesquera, Alimentaria y de la Producción Ecológica (IFAPA) – Cadiz, Spain, Centro de Ciências do Mar (CCMAR) – Faro, Portugal, Institute Josef Pancic, Belgrade, Serbia καθώς και στις βιομηχανίες Fitoplancton Marino - Cadiz, Spain, Fytosan - Die, France και ELPEN, Αθήνα. Eίναι εφευρέτης 8 οικογενειών πατεντών, έχει δημοσιεύσει πάνω από 40 ερευνητικές εργασίες σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά με κριτές και διεθνή επιστημονικά βιβλία, έχει συμμετάσχει ως Project coordinator ή Project leader σε 16 διεθνή επιστημονικά προγράμματα ύψους 30 εκατ. ευρώ μεταξύ των οποίων Horizon 2020, FP7 – IAPP, Leonardo da Vinci και ΕΣΠΑ, έχει υπάρξει προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής σε δεκάδες διεθνή συνέδρια και έχει βραβευτεί για το καινοτομικό του έργο. Εργάζεται επίσης ως προσκεκλημένος καθηγητής στα Μεταπτυχιακά Προγράμματα Κοσμητολογίας-Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών, Βιομηχανικής Φαρμακευτικής-Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, Κοσμητικής Χημείας – Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο της Ελλάδας, Νανοϊατρικής-Ιατρική Σχολή Αθηνών, Βιοεπιχιερείν- Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας/Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών. Κύρια ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα είναι η φαρμακευτική και κοσμητική τεχνολογία και νανοτεχνολογία, η χημεία φυσικών προϊόντων και πράσινη εκχύλιση καθώς και η βιοχημική αποτίμηση φυσικών προϊόντων. Εργάζεται παράλληλα ως συνθέτης, sound artist και performer ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής ενώ τελευταία ασχολείται με το bio-art συνδέοντας τις αλληλεπιδράσεις κυττάρων και νανοσωματιδίων με τον ήχο και την εικόνα.

Dr. Konstantinos Gardikis is a Pharmacist working as APIVITA's Research and Development Director. He deals mainly with the research and development of innovative raw materials and finished products of natural cosmetics and nutritional supplements, as well as with their regulatory consolidation. He has been working at APIVITA since 2013, as Research & Development Director while he held the position of Scientific Affairs Director from 2014 to 2019. He has also worked as director and co-owner of 2 pharmacy stores. He studied Pharmacy at the Athens School of Pharmacy, from where he also received an MSc in Industrial Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. He was retrained in various academic institutions, including: National Hellenic Research Foundation, Bioacademy of Athens, Centre National de Recherche Scientifique - Grenoble, France, Universita degli Studi di Milano - Italy, University of Lodz - Poland, Universidad Complutense de Madrid – Spain, Instituto Andaluz de Investigación y Formación Agraria, Pesquera, Alimentaria y de la Producción Ecológica (IFAPA) – Cadiz, Spain, Centro de Ciências do Mar (CCMAR) – Faro, Portugal, Institute Josef Pancic, Belgrade, Serbia as well as the Industries Fitoplancton Marino - Cadiz, Spain, Fytosan - Die, France and ELPEN, Athens. He is inventor of 8 patent families, he has published over 40 research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and international scientific books, he has participated as Project coordinator or Project leader in 16 international scientific programs worth 30 million euros including Horizon 2020, FP7 – IAPP , Leonardo da Vinci and Greek Framework, has been an invited speaker at dozens of international conferences and has been awarded for his innovative work. He also works as a visiting professor in the Postgraduate Programs of Cosmetology - University of Patras, Industrial Pharmacy - University of Thessaloniki, Cosmetic Chemistry - International University of Greece, Nanomedicine - Medical School of Athens, Biotechnology - University of Thessaly/National Research Foundation. His main research interests are pharmaceutical and cosmetic technology and nanotechnology, natural product chemistry and green extraction as well as biochemical evaluation of natural products. He works in parallel as a composer, sound artist and performer of electronic music, while recently he deals with bio-art, connecting the interactions of cells and nanoparticles with sound and image.
