Mr. Iasonas Iasonos

Short CV

Iasonas Iasonos, holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering of Frederick University and a postgraduate degree in the MSc in Web & Mobile Systems and is a special teaching staff/lab assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics at Frederick University. He teaches Circuit Analysis, Software methodology, Digital Design I & II, Web publishing, Programming Principles I & II, Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing and Applications, Electrical Principles and Circuits, Internet Technologies, Digital Production, Systems Programming, Object Oriented Programming and Advanced Databases Systems. Iasonas Iasonos is also a lab assistant and a senior developer at the Mobile Devices Laboratory (MDL) of Frederick University, founded in 2012 and sponsored by Microsoft Cyprus and the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA). Since 2014 he has developed several mobile applications for different platforms (Windows Phone and UWP 10, Android, iOS) and various web platforms (HTML, Asp.Net). Iasonas Iasonos was the manager, developer and manufacturer of S.E.C.S. project that won the national Microsoft Imagine Cup 2015 competition in the category of World Citizenship, then won the World Semifinals and qualified in the 32 teams out of 150 worldwide which finally competed in the World Finals that took place in Seattle, USA. Also, he supervised and participated in the development of the A.R.G.O.S. project, which won the national Innovation Contest of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2016. He won the first award in the Hellenic Bank – StudentLife Awards 2016, he was the Winner of the Youth Awards of Youth Board of Cyprus 2016 in Innovation Category and he was also awarded for his academic excellence in the masters of science, web and mobile systems at Frederick University. Iasonas Iasonos holds several ICT-based certificates such as Cisco CCNA, NDG Linux Essentials CISCO and Essentials IT: PC Hardware and Software - Networking Academy Cisco. He participated and successfully completed the Intensive Programme Erasmus in Secure Web Applications held in Spain, 2014. Iasonas Iasonos is a Microsoft Student Partner (MSP), who with his experience on various technologies and programming platforms participated in the organization of several national technological and non-technological events
