Mr. Constantinos Kounnis

Short CV

Mr. Kounnis is an Associate Professor in the School of Arts, Communication and Cultural Studies and he is currently the Course Coordinator of the BA in the Interior Design program of the Applied Arts Department. He joined the university as a fulltime staff in 2007. He received his BA and MA in Architecture from the University of Florence (Universita Degli Studi di Firenze), Italy. Mr. Kounnis is the cofounder with Prof. Costas Mantzalos of the TWOFOURTWO Art Group with several national and international exhibitions (www.twofourtwo.com). He is the founder of CKOUNNIS Architecture + Design for commission and consulting specialized in Contemporary Architecture, Interior and Stage Design (www.ckounnis.com). His main design interests are based on Commercial Interiors and the art of Flexible, Mobile and Prefabricate Architecture/Spaces, experimental Stage and Set Design.

Ο κ. Κουννής είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής στη Σχολή Τεχνών, Επικοινωνίας και Πολιτισμικών Σπουδών και σήμερα είναι Συντονιστής Μαθημάτων του πτυχιακού προγράμματος Σχεδιασμού Εσωτερικών Χώρων του Τμήματος Εφαρμοσμένων Τεχνών. Εντάχθηκε στο πανεπιστήμιο ως προσωπικό πλήρους απασχόλησης το 2007. Έλαβε το πτυχίο και το μεταπτυχιακό του στην Αρχιτεκτονική από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Φλωρεντίας (Universita Degli Studi di Firenze), Ιταλία. Ο κ. Κουννής είναι ο συνιδρυτής με τον καθηγητή Κώστα Μάντζαλο της Ομάδας Τέχνης TWOFOURTWO με πολλές εθνικές και διεθνείς εκθέσεις (www.twofourtwo.com). Είναι ο ιδρυτής της CKOUNNIS Architecture + Design για ανάθεση και παροχή υπηρεσιών με εξειδίκευση τη Σύγχρονη Αρχιτεκτονική, Εσωτερική Διακόσμιση και Σκηνογραφία (www.ckounnis.com). Τα κύρια σχεδιαστικά του ενδιαφέροντα βασίζονται στον σχεδιασμό Εμπορικών Εσωτερικών Χώρων και της Ευέλικτης, Κινητής και Προκατασκευασμένης Αρχιτεκτονικής και της πειραματικής Σκηνογραφίας.
