Mr. Constantinos Economides is a Visiting Lecturer in the Interior Design program of the Applied Arts Department. He joined the faculty in 2008. He received his BA in Interior Design at Frederick University in 2004 and MA in Industrial Design from the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in 2007. Throughout his studies, Constantinos has worked in several design and architectural practices, but also his work has been featured in exhibitions in Athens, Palermo, London, Milan, China, Serbia and Cyprus. He has also been a frequent participant and alumni at the Boisbuchet Summer Workshops in France,
a cooperation with the Centre Georges Pompidou and Vitra Design Museum. Mr. Economides is the cofounder of the WEdid-ID, an industrial design collaborative and consultancy studio based in Cyprus with involvement in wide aspects of Industrial Design, Furniture and Interior Design. WEdid-ID was asked to represent Cyprus Design, showing at the Palermo Design week 2009 alongside 40 of the top young designers from all over Europe. Additionally Constantinos worked in 2008 until 2011, as a coordinator and participant at the Campanas Workshop in Athens, in collaboration and guidance of the Campana Brothers for the redesign of the Olympic Palace Hotel, part of YES! Hotels owned by Mr. Dakis Ioannou.
