Dr. Andreas Tjirkallis

Short CV

Andreas Tjirkallis received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London (2003) and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cyprus (2013). He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Frederick University Cyprus, teaching courses in both the Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Engineering programs. He has served as a visiting Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Cyprus (2016 - 2019) and Frederick University Cyprus (2014 – 2015), while from 2006 till 2013 he has served as a Special Teaching Scientist. His teaching and research expertise are in the fields of Automotive Dynamics and Structural Damage Identification (including Vehicle Crashworthiness, Mechatronics, Mechanical Vibrations and Signal Processing).
