CREATIVE LAB

Gaining real-life work experience
in the design field

The Creative Lab was founded in 2019 to provide our undergraduate and postgraduate design students diverse opportunities to gain real-life work experiences, under the mentorship and guidance of Victoria Leonidou, Director of the Creative Lab and Head of Creative at the University's Communications and Outreach Service. Through the Creative Lab, students are engaged in real-world visual communication projects that help them broaden their knowledge and skills.

So far projects have been completed in the areas of graphic design, exhibition design, event design, app design and animation.

The Creative Lab also works closely with researchers, academics, companies and organizations and offers consulting and other services. It acts as a bridge between conceiving and applying creative ideas through a series of exciting, sophisticated and multidisciplinary projects, enabling our students to familiarise themselves with the skills required in real working conditions, thus providing them with an important edge in the design field.
