Scholarships for Lebanese Students
for the academic year 2023-2024

Frederick University participates in the “Study in Cyprus” scholarship scheme of the Republic of Cyprus for Lebanese students.

In the framework of this scheme, the Republic of Cyprus awards Scholarships to Lebanese students for the academic year 2023-2024, in order to support Lebanese families that have been impacted by the financial crisis and to promote cooperation between Cyprus and Lebanon in Higher Education.

Frederick University will offer (1) full scholarship.

Level: Bachelor Degree Programs
Program Subject Area: Any English-Taught Program
Eligibility requirements: Admission requirements of selected program
Academic year(s): 2023-2024
Scholarship coverage (and scholarship value): 100% of Tuition Fees

Notes:
- Eligible applicants are new students who will enter the University in the academic year 2023-2024 with a good cumulative grade point average on their High School Leaving Certificate, assuming they fulfil the admission requirements of the program of study they apply for admission.
- The scholarship is for the duration of the studies, provided that the performance of the student is satisfactory. Specifically, the student will have to maintain a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 6.50 / 10.00 and above.
- The student will be responsible to pay for their own living and other related expenses (i.e. registration fees, migration fees, health insurance, visa deposit).
- The scholarship cannot be awarded to Lebanese students who have completed their secondary education in Cyprus, to existing Frederick University students, to Frederick University graduates, or to students of other educational institutes in Cyprus (other scholarship plans may apply for such cases).
- The deadlines set by the Republic of Cyprus regarding the Entry Permit (Visa) Formalities need to be followed.
- The final selection of the successful applicants will be made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus, based on the list of applicants submitted by the Universities.
