The Vaults: End-of-year exhibition by the Department of Arts and Communication

Our University's Department of Arts and Communication is organizing a showcase of its students' works, to be held in Nicosia from July 2nd to July 5th. This end-of-year exhibition presents the work of students throughout the academic year.

The exhibition will be held at Megaro Mitsi 1, an iconic building in the city center (off Eleftheria Square), designed by Polys Michaelides, a significant figure in Modern Architecture.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on July 2nd at 19:30. Join us to explore the work of our students in Graphic Design, Filmmaking, Digital Media, Interior Design and Fashion and Image Design.

The Arts and Communication Department is a vibrant and progressive hub promoting contemporary design practices, creative entrepreneurship, communication, and research. It systematically engages students in various professional projects, events, and research directly linked to the industry and society. The Department maintains strong partnerships with the design industry and societal stakeholders, and has carried out numerous projects, exhibitions, and events.

Frederick University operates in Nicosia and Limassol, offering the following programs in the field of Arts and Communication:

Parallel Event:

On July 3rd, 2024, at 19:00, the interdisciplinary project "Design for Play - Building Awareness for a Sustainable Future" will be presented parallel to the exhibition. This project is a collaboration between the University's Department of Arts and Communication, the Department of Education, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment's Department of Fisheries and Marine Research.

The Department of Arts and Communication is grateful to the Management Board of the Mitsis Commercial School of Lemythou for granting the space for the exhibition.
