1. Comprehend, list and explain the basic principles and functions of business management and health organizations.
2. Recognize the business environment and health organizations and enhance their characteristics.
3. Analyse and use modern management tools and management in the health sector.
4. Judge and evaluation strategic operations of modernized business environment in the area of health.
5. Exhibit deep knowledge of the direction of the Health Sector at the intra-European level and the legal context in which it moves.
6. Evaluate risks to health organizations (Risk assessment).
7. Acquire and exhibit specific knowledge in organization, administration and financial management of services in Health Units.
8. Show capacity of management skills of public and private health sector, through modern tools
9. Shape attitudes and beliefs that are consistent in a modern management culture.
10. Demonstrate the appropriate profile of a modern Health Manager
The postgraduate program in is designed to give students the necessary skills for academic and career advancement in Management of Public and Private Healthcare sector.

The program potentials are enormous as career opportunities exist in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, health centers, primary health care services, nursing homes, welfare offices, central health services, pharmaceutical companies, health education units, welfare services, health policy programs, health insurance lines, centers of people with disabilities
Specific Admission Requirements
Admission to the program is divided into two stages:

1st Stage: Submission of CV .
An admissions committee evaluates the applications of candidates based on the information contained in the dossier of their CVs. The main criteria assessed are the level and relevance of previous studies with the objective of the program, service and general education course, and scientific or professional activity.

2nd Stage: Interview
Successful candidates of the first stage are interviewed by the coordinator of the program and rated on a scale of 0-20. In the interview the coordinator seeks to determine which candidates can respond effectively to the demands of the program, taking into account the motivation and interest but also the overall composition and scientific competence.

General Criteria for Distance Learning
All Distance Learning Programmes are offered using E-Learning methods. Therefore, students applying to enter DL Programmes, additionally to the academic requirements of each program, must have a good level of digital literacy:

The list of prerequisite digital literacy and equipment that the student should have available in order to participate and be an active member of the program include:

1. Access to reliable broadband internet
2. Computer with camera and microphone capacity
3. Smartphone
4. Ability to send and receive emails and files
5. Ability to operate within a web digital environment such as the learning platform
6. Ability to manage word processing, presentation, and other basic office application functions.

Recognition of Prior Learning
There are no specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning for this Program. Candidates can be granted transfer credits according to the general arrangements for recognition of prior learning at the University.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Each course will be assessed through a combination of:
- Personal course work in all courses during semester , the score of which covers 40% of the total grade
- Final exams in all courses at the end of the semester during examination period, the score of which covers 60% of the total grade.
- Dissertation 15,000 words .

Graduation Requirements
Students are eligible for graduation after successfully completing 90 ECTS credits in the courses listed in the Program Structure.

Furthermore, a student can graduate only if their CGPA is greater or equal to 5.00 out of 10.00.

Graduating students with a CGPA less than 5.00 might have to take extra courses or repeat a number of courses in order to improve their grades.

Access to Further Studies
The graduates of the Program have access to postgraduate studies (PhD) in disciplines related with the discipline of Heath Management.
