TUITION
AND OTHER FEES

you will be expected to cover

Frederick University tuition fees are calculated per ECTS in order to ensure the fairest system for the students. Specifically, calculating the fees based on ECTS load ensures that student fees reflect the actual learning that the student obtains. Furthermore, through charging by ECTS, the student is provided with a clear and unambiguous way of calculating the tuition fees for his/her program of study; according to the Bologna Process that Frederick University follows, each academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS, irrespective of program, therefore the student knows exactly the expected tuition fees for the academic year and for the program as a whole.

In addition, you will not be charged extra fees for lab work, tutoring or support classes. Therefore, you will have a clear picture of your financial obligations for the entire duration of your studies.

Taking into account the financial uncertainty, we have decided to continue offering significantly reduced tuition fees for the academic year 2023-2024.

Special scholarships apply to residents of Greece. Please contact the University’s office in Athens for more information (57, Panepistimiou Str. Office 201, Athens 10564, Greece, tel: +30 2103311288)

Students cannot drop or withdraw from a course(s) or terminate their studies at the University by merely stopping to attend. Students should follow the relevant procedure as described below:

Dropping or Withdrawing from a course(s)

A. Dropping a course(s) during the Drop Period
Students can drop a course(s) without any charge during the Drop Period – the first three weeks of the semester - assuming they remain active students. Active students are students who are enrolled to at least one course during the semester. Students wishing to drop a course(s) during the first three weeks of the semester they should contact their academic advisors.

A drop removes the course from the students’ schedules with no record of their enrolment in the particular course in their official transcript.

B. Withdrawing from a course(s)
Students requesting to drop a course(s) after the Drop Period will need to follow the Course Withdrawal Procedure. Students can withdraw from a course(s) during the fourth and fifth weeks of the semester. In such case they will be charged with a part of the tuition fees for the course(s) they withdrew from. Students wishing to withdraw from a course(s) during the fourth and fifth weeks of the semester they have to complete an official Course Withdrawal Form and submit it to the Studies and Student Welfare Service. The date of withdrawal will be considered to be the date on which the Course Withdrawal Form is received.

Course Withdrawal removes the specific course(s) from the students’ schedules and results in grades ‘W’ on their official transcripts. The grade of ‘W’ has no impact on the students’ Grade Point Averages - GPA.

Termination of Studies
Students wishing to terminate their studies at the University have to complete an official University Withdrawal Form and submit it to the Studies and Student Welfare Service. The date of withdrawal will be considered to be the date on which the withdrawal form is received.

Refund / Partial Charge Schedule
