Anastasia Alevriadou is Professor of Psychology with emphasis in Special Education. She has pursued her PhD at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Psychology. Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University (1999). In 2019, she was a Fulbright Grantee at Ohio State University, Nisonger Center of Developmental Disabilities, USA. She has published more than 150 articles in Greek and international journals, 5 books and 6 chapters in American books on these issues, and many conference proceedings. She has also participated in many European and International conferences. She is a member of many Greeks and International Associations of Psychology and Special Education. Visiting Professor in Cyprus, Czech Republic and USA. Currently, Anastasia Alevriadou is a collaborative academic staff at Frederick University. She has been teaching distance learning courses, that is: MED Program in Special Education (“Methods and Strategies of Teaching in Special and Inclusive Education”, “Evaluation in Special Education”), and a module at the MA Program in Social Work (Psychosocial and Community Interventions in Crisis Situations).
