Thalis Papakyriakou is a member of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics at Frederick University Cyprus. He joined the faculty in 2021, as a PhD researcher at the Mobile Devices Laboratory, and as a teaching assistant for undergraduate level courses. He received his BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus in 2017, and his MSc degree in Computer Science from TU Delft in 2021, with a focus on Software Technology. His current research interests include the investigation of state-of-the-art algorithms for problems of worldwide interest, such as scheduling and routing. He is also interested in techniques for Artificial Intelligence and Optimization under varying assumptions and objectives.
