Ο Δρ. Εμμανουήλ Παπαδόπουλος (PhD), είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής και συντονιστής του προγράμματος BSc Φυσικοθεραπείας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick, Λεμεσός, Κύπρος. Είναι κάτοχος πτυχίου Φυσικοθεραπείας (1989) από το Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Αθηνών (νυν ΠΑΔΑ), μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου MSc in Rehabilitation από το University of Southampton (1994) και διδακτορικού διπλώματος στη Φυσιολογία της Άσκησης και Αθλητιατρική (2006) από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Εργάζεται ως μόνιμος φυσικοθεραπευτής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών Ευαγγελισμός από το 1999, όπου διετέλεσε Υπεύθυνος του Τμήματος Φυσικοθεραπείας (2017-2021), με πλούσιο κλινικό και επιστημονικό ιστορικό. Έχει δημοσιεύσει σημαντικό αριθμό επιστημονικών εργασιών, σε έγκριτα διεθνή περιοδικά, με μεγάλη αποδοχή και πλήθος αναφορών. Είναι συγγραφέας βιβλίων και κεφαλαίων. Έχει πλούσια κλινική εμπειρία σε νοσοκομεία του NHS στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (1990-1993) και στην Ελλάδα (1999-σήμερα), σε όλο το φάσμα των κλινικών τομέων της φυσικοθεραπείας. Διαθέτει πολυετή διδακτική εμπειρία, ως λέκτορας στις Σχολές Φυσικοθεραπείας των Πανεπιστημίων Θεσσαλίας και Δυτικής Αττικής (1996-2007) και ως καθηγητής φυσικοθεραπείας στο Athens Metropolitan College, συνεργαζόμενο με το University of East London και το Queen Margaret University (2014-2017). Είναι επιστημονικός συνεργάτης της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών από το 2009, σε δύο μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα. Κατά τη διάρκεια της θητείας του ως επικεφαλής του Τμήματος Φυσικοθεραπείας στο Νοσοκομείο Ευαγγελισμός, διαχειρίστηκε αποτελεσματικά τον φόρτο εργασίας της κλινικής φυσικοθεραπείας και οργάνωσε την ενδοϋπηρεσιακή συνεχιζόμενη εκπαίδευση και τη συμμετοχή του τμήματος στις διεπιστημονικές επιστημονικές συναντήσεις και συνέδρια. Επιπλέον, καθιέρωσε επιστημονική εκπαιδευτική συνεργασία με όλες σχεδόν τις πανεπιστημιακές σχολές φυσικοθεραπείας στην Ελλάδα (UNIWA, Θεσσαλίας και Πάτρας), καθώς και με το Πανεπιστήμιο Λευκωσίας, για την οργάνωση, εποπτεία και διεξαγωγή των κλινικών και πρακτικών ασκήσεων των φοιτητών φυσικοθεραπείας στο νοσοκομείο. Είναι μέλος του Πανελλήνιου Συλλόγου Φυσικοθεραπευτών και έχει διατελέσει μέλος της 'The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy', 'The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine' και 'HCPC State registered Physiotherapist' στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Έχει διατελέσει πρόεδρος επιστημονικών συνεδρίων, αντιπρόεδρος και μέλος της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Επούλωσης Τραυμάτων, μέλος επιτροπών επιστημονικών συνεδρίων στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό και μέλος της συντακτικής επιτροπής επιστημονικών περιοδικών («Θέματα Φυσικοθεραπείας», «The International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds» και «The Step of Asclepius»). Έχει συμπεριληφθεί στη διεθνή λίστα 'WHO is WHO' και στους 'TOP 100 PROFESSIONALS HEALTHCARE' στον τομέα της φυσικοθεραπείας, ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει ως προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής σε πλήθος επιστημονικών συνεδρίων στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.

Dr.. Emmanouil Papadopoulos (PhD), is an Associate Professor and BSc Physiotherapy course coordinator at Frederick University, Limassol, Cyprus. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy (1989) from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, an MSc in Rehabilitation from the University of Southampton (1994) and a PhD in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine (2006) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has been working as a permanent physiotherapist at the General Hospital of Athens Evangelismos since 1999, where he served as Head of the Department of Physiotherapy (2017-2021), with a rich clinical and research record. He has published a significant number of scientific papers in peer reviewed international journals, with great acceptance and numerous citations. He is the author of a book and chapters in medical books. He has extensive clinical experience in NHS hospitals in the UK (1990-1993) and Greece (1999-today), across the range of clinical areas of physiotherapy. He has many years of teaching experience, as a lecturer at the Schools of Physiotherapy of the Universities of Thessaly and West Attica (1996-2007) and as a professor of physiotherapy at Athens Metropolitan College, collaborating with the University of East London and Queen Margaret University (2014-2017). He is a research associate of the Medical School of the University of Athens since 2009, in two postgraduate programs. During his tenure as head of the Department of Physiotherapy at Evangelismos Hospital, he effectively managed the workload of clinical physiotherapy and organized the in-service continuing education and the department's participation in interdisciplinary scientific meetings and conferences. In addition, he established scientific educational cooperation with almost all university schools of physiotherapy in Greece (UNIWA, Thessaly and Patras), as well as with the University of Nicosia, for the organization, supervision and conduct of clinical and practical physiotherapy students placements in the hospital. He is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists and has been a member of 'The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy', 'The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine' and 'HCPC State registered Physiotherapist' in the UK. He has served as president of scientific conferences, vice president and member of the Hellenic Society of Wound Healing, member of scientific conference committees in Greece and abroad and member of the editorial board of scientific journals ("Topics in Physiotherapy", "The International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds" and "The Step of Asclepius"). He has been awarded with the 'WHO is WHO in medicine and healthcare' and the 'TOP 100 HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS' in the field of physiotherapy, while he has participated as an invited speaker in numerous scientific conferences in Greece and abroad.
