Ioannis Voudouris holds the position of Assistant Professor and is the academic coordinator of the "LLM in Maritime Law and Shipping Management" programme. His areas of expertise lie in Business and Commercial Law, with a specific focus on subjects such as Maritime Law & Law of the Sea, Private International Law, Carriage of Goods Law, and Dispute Resolution. Ioannis earned his LL.B. degree from Athens Law School at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He further pursued his studies by obtaining an LL.M. degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent, followed by a Ph.D. from Queen Mary, University of London. Additionally, he conducted Post-Doctoral Research (Post-Doc) on Commercial Mediation at the University of Cyprus. With over 20 years' experience working internationally as both a lawyer and maritime sector professional across various roles, Ioannis brings valuable practical insights to his teaching and research endeavours in commercial and maritime law spanning more than 15 years. Currently, his research primarily focuses on maritime law along with business and contract law matters. Notably bilingual in Greek and English while also fluent in French; Ioannis demonstrates exceptional academic and professional aptitudes, allowing for optimal performance in diverse contexts
