Dr. Ifigenia Kofou

Short CV

Dr. Ifigenia Kofou is a graduate of the Faculty of English Studies, and holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and an MA in the sciences of language and communication at the new economic environment, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is an English language teacher and the school principal at the 2nd Senior High School of Thermi ‘Giorgos Ioannou’. She is also a tutor at the Post-graduate Program “The teaching of English as a foreign/international language” of the Hellenic Open University. She has published four books and numerous papers in international/national refereed journals, conference proceedings and special editions. Her research interests include language learning, teaching and assessment, CLIL, alternative assessment, adult education, research methodology, ICT in education. She currently works as a collaborative academic staff at Frederick University.
