We help you
strive for success

At Frederick University we strive to help you reach your academic potential and achieve your academic goals through a range of academic support mechanisms that are offered from the induction period up to the last day of your studies!

Academic Advisor
As soon as you are enrolled to the University you are assigned to an Academic Advisor whose purpose is to monitor your academic performance, track your academic progress towards graduation and discuss with you any concerns that may impede your academic journey.
The Academic Advisor is a faculty member of your Department who is familiar with your program of study and industry and is therefore your first point of contact for any academic related topics. In addition, the Academic Advisor is a person who is familiar with all student support services and can will direct you to additional resources whenever these are needed.
You can find who your Academic Advisor is and how to contact them through the Student Portal (Extranet).

Consultation Weeks
While you can reach your Academic Advisor any time you need them, the Studies and Student Welfare Service implements twice in each semester Mandatory Consultation Weeks during which all students must meet with their Academic Advisors and discuss their academic progress and concerns.

Another Step towards your Success!

What is the Peer Tutoring Center?
The Peer Tutoring Center is a place where students who need help, especially in introductory-level courses (i.e. Math, Physics etc), can visit and receive tutoring services and academic assistance by other University students (Peer Tutors). These students are employed by the University and excel in the course they tutor. Their goal is to assist you with the course content and to help you develop strong academic habits.

Are you interested in becoming a Peer Tutor? Find here available positions.

For more information, visit the Peer Tutoring Center page.
