Our principles and commitment against harassment

Frederick University is committed to taking all possible actions to ensure a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for both students and staff. Human rights, and particularly human dignity, gender equality, and respect, are fundamental values here at Frederick University.

Any behavior that constitutes harassment or sexual harassment within the university community is considered unacceptable by us. We support the right of every member of our community to develop and thrive without the fear of harassment, intimidation, discrimination, sexual violence, abuse, or other inappropriate behavior.

For the purpose of preventing and combating harassment and sexual harassment conduct, Frederick University has adopted the Code of Practice for the Prevention and Combating of Harassment and Sexual Harassment, which you can read here.
