Joint Master‘s in Marine Biotechnology – Apply now for a scholarship

Apply for the Joint Master‘s in Marine Biotechnology offered by the European University Alliance, EU-CONEXUS, of which Frederick University is a full member! The open call for Erasmus Mundus scholarships is available now until January 31, 2024. Build your European network for marine biotechnology and tailor your career through one of four specialization tracks: (1) Innovative Bioproducts for Future; (2) Blue Biomass; (3) Marine Biorefinery; (4) Aquaculture Biotechnology.
The courses of the program start in September 2024 and the language of instruction is English. Students will have the opportunity to study in EU-CONEXUS’ partner Universities in Spain (La Universidad Catolica de Valencia) and France (La Rochelle University) and one of the other Universities that participate in the programme: Agricultural University of Athens (GR), Catholic University of Valencia (ES), Klaipeda University (LT), La Rochelle Université (FR), University of Zadar (HR), Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (RO).

SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
The Master's program provides Erasmus Mundus scholarships for excellent academic profiles in need of financial support. An Erasmus Mundus scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, travel (€1400 per month for 22 months).
Graduates can pursue job opportunities in the health, cosmetics and agri-food sectors to reach new markets and segments, in the manufacturing of new functional products from marine resources, in Biotechnology in the aquaculture sector such as: managing advanced breeding programmes, estimating significant diseases of aquatic organisms, modifying the metabolism of molecules in living organisms and support modern research for practical aquaculture development and seafood processing.
