Health & Safety starts with you
The University Health & Safety Office maintains and implements the Health & Safety System based on the requirements of the ‘Health & Safety at Work Legislation’. The system includes the University Health & Safety Policy, as well as the University’s Health & Safety Regulation.
Furthermore, the Health & Safety System includes: (a) Emergency Plans that specify the actions to be followed in case of an emergency, (b) Evacuation Plans for all University buildings; these are posted in all areas of common use, (c) Emergency Safety Teams; identifying employees trained for fire safety, for First Aid and use of defibrillators and for evacuation of buildings, and (d) Health & Safety google form, to communicate relevant ‘Issues and/or Suggestions’ to the University’s Health & Safety Office.
