Memorandum of Understanding with the “Andreas Sofocleous Social Services Provision Centre”

Frederick University and "Andreas Sofocleous Social Services Provision Centre" (KEPAKY) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening social contribution, research, and education on issues of social relevance.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the President of the Council of Frederick University, Ms Natassa Frederickou, and the Founder of KEPAKY, Mr Andreas Sofocleous, together with the President of KEPAKY, Ms Azucena Sofocleous, during a ceremony held at Frederick University in Limassol on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

Through this agreement, a framework is established for the development of joint actions and initiatives that will benefit both the university community and society at large. The Memorandum includes, among others, student internships, the implementation of joint research activities on topics of common interest, and the organization of awareness and outreach campaigns.

As part of the collaboration, scholarships were awarded to 12 students, further supporting access to education.

KEPAKY, as an active non-governmental organization with long-standing experience, makes a significant contribution to supporting individuals and families, promoting social inclusion, and providing psychosocial support.

The signing of the Memorandum reaffirms the commitment of both organizations to work together towards the creation of a more supportive social environment, investing in knowledge, research, and social contribution.
