Event at our Limassol campus on current trends and developments in Legal Science

Frederick University's Department of Law is holding an event titled "Current Trends and Developments in Legal Science: A Presentation of the Legal Writing Work of the Law Department's Academic Staff Members"

The event will take place on Tuesday, May 9th at 18:00 at Frederick University, in Limassol.

Frederick University's Rector, Professor George Demosthenous and the Dean of the School of Business & Law, Professor Eleni Chatzikonstantinou, will address the event. 

Law is an evolving science, with constant challenges. In the last five years, the Department of Law's Faculty have published more than 30 works which enrich the legal literature. At this event, the current trends in legal science as recorded in the written works of our faculty will be highlighted and will be linked with the current developments in law, in Cyprus and Greece. Presentations will be provided by the President of the Department and President of the Cyprus Bar Association, Professor Christos Cleridis, Associate Professor Panagiotis Degleris, Vice President of the Department, Associate Professor Iliana Nikolaou, Associate Professor Sotiris Theocharidis, Assistant Professor Ioannis Voudouris, Assistant Professor Vasiliki Karagounis, Assistant Professor Konstantinos Kouroupis, Assistant Professor Aikaterini Sykiotis, Assistant Professor Maria Stylianidou, Assistant Professor Dimitrios Devetzis and Assistant Professor Haris Apostolopoulos .

The event will be coordinated by Mr. Andreas Paschalidis, former Judge of the Supreme Court and member of the academic staff of the Frederick’s University Law Department.

The University's Department of Law is known for its high level of teaching, boasting a faculty made up of eminent and experienced lawyers, and for its collaborations with acknowledged academic institutions in Europe. Its programs of study are offered at both campuses of Frederick University, in Nicosia and Limassol.
