World Happiness Day is celebrated every year on March 20. During this day, the action “Spreading Happiness” takes place in schools and institutions across Cyprus and Greece, in support of cancer-afflicted children.

The action is organized by the NGO "One Dream, One Wish" and for this year, our University is participating in the action, calling all students and staff to spread happiness and support the cause.

What you can do:
- Bring an old, light-coloured t-shirt.
- Join us outdoors (Nicosia Campus) or in the cafeteria (Limassol Campus) from 10:00 to 12:00.
- Write/draw what “happiness” is to you, on your t-shirt.
- Hung your happiness t-shirt on the "happiness laundry line."
- Donate to the cause. Even the smallest contribution counts.

A team of representatives from our University, along with a group of Motorcyclists, will visit the Pediatric Oncology Department of Makarios Hospital to collect the happiness t-shirts created by the children being treated there, and transport them to our University.

- The action has so far raised €100,000 for the One Dream, One Wish NGO
- Over 100 schools in Cyprus and Greece have spread their happiness
- We are the first University to participate in this action
