Let’s celebrate Earth Day, on Tuesday, April 23 from 10:45 to 12:30 by transforming our old t-shirts into reusable bags! All members of the Frederick University community - students, faculty, and staff - are welcome to participate in this creative environmental action on the occasion of Earth Day.

It's simple: bring your old T-shirts to the Reception area in Nicosia Campus (main building) and Limassol Campus, and we'll transform them into a useful bag.

- If you have basic sewing machine skills, we need you!
- Even if you don't know how to sew, you can help with the receiving, sorting, and cutting of the t-shirts.

The project “I am a t-shirt bag” is a Frederick University initiative that was developed to promote the idea of repurposing. T-shirt bags are one of many ways of reusing our things, contributing to waste reduction and promoting sustainability. By giving them a new life, we not only prevent them from ending up in landfills but also provide an alternative to single-use plastic bags.
