Honorary award by the ENAVSMA Foundation for our contribution to its mission
Frederick University was honored by the ENAVSMA Foundation for its significant contribution to the Foundation’s mission, at an event that included a report of its activities and an awards ceremony recognizing its sponsors and supporters.
The honorary award, presented by Dr. Marianna Prokopi Demetriades, Member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, was accepted by the University Rector, Professor George Demosthenous.
During the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the President of the Council of Frederick University, Ms. Natassa Frederickou, and the President of the Foundation, Ms. Natasa Michaelidou. The agreement includes the provision of scholarships for postgraduate programs at Frederick University within the framework of the ENAVSMA Foundation’s scholarship program, as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops.
The event took place in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Ms. Vasiliki Kassianidou; the President of the Nicosia District Local Government Organization, Constantinos Yiorkadjis; the Mayor of Nicosia, Mr. Charalambos Prountzos; as well as representatives of the business community, sponsors, supporters, and students who have benefited from the Foundation’s initiatives.
This honorary distinction constitutes an important recognition that reaffirms the University’s long-standing support for education and the younger generation, through the provision of dozens of scholarship schemes for both new and current students, as well as additional opportunities in collaboration with various organizations and institutions.
