Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) Program by the Municipality of Nicosia

Have an idea that could make Nicosia greener and more sustainable? If you are 15–24 years old, the Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) gives you the opportunity to collaborate with other young people and turn your idea into action. Deadline extended to 4 November 2026!

The Municipality of Nicosia, with the support of Bloomberg Philanthropies, is offering funding ranging from €1,000 to €5,000 per project to implement climate and environmental initiatives in which young people play an active and meaningful role in their design and implementation.

Ideas may focus on, among other things, urban greenery and nature, recycling and reuse, sustainable mobility, waste reduction, biodiversity, resource conservation, and raising public awareness and encouraging citizen engagement.

You don't need to be an environmental expert or have previous experience. All you need is a good idea, a willingness to collaborate, and the motivation to make it happen!
