Prof. Komodromos elected new President of the BoD at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics
We are delighted to announce the election of Prof. Michael Komodromos, the Vice Rector for Research, Development, and International Relations at Frederick University, as the new President of the Board of Directors at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics.
Prof. Komodromos, a Professor of Electrical Engineering, has demonstrated his capabilities through various leadership positions. His previous roles include serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), Vice Chair of the Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA), and member of the Boards of the Cyprus Organization for Storage and Management of Oil Stocks (KODAP) and the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB).
With a wealth of experience in diverse sectors, Prof. Komodromos is well poised to contribute to the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics towards continued success in advancing medical research focused on neurological and genetic conditions. In his capacity as President of the Board, Prof. Komodromos will have a pivotal role in furthering the Institute’s mission to reduce patient suffering and prevent diseases and spearhead research initiatives and educational programmes, thus ensuring the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics remains at the forefront of medical advancements.
