The highlight of the academic year at Frederick University is fast approaching, with the community gearing up for its four major events in Nicosia and Limassol: three Graduation Ceremonies and the Excellence Awards Ceremony.

1st Graduation Ceremony

Date & Time: June 25, 20:00
Location: Municipal Garden Theater, Limassol
President Nikos Christodoulides will be present at the 1st Graduation Ceremony of our University, in Limassol. Graduates from the School of Education and Social Sciences (including both conventional and distance learning programs), the School of Engineering, the School of Business and Law, and the School of Arts, Communication, and Cultural Studies, will receive their degrees.

Excellence Awards Ceremony

Date & Time: June 26, 19:00
Location: Nicosia Municipal Theatre
This ceremony will honor the top graduates of all undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2023-24 academic year, as well as recipients of Doctoral degrees. The Michalis Frederickou Excellence Awards, established in 2021 to honor the ethos and excellence of the university's community members, will also be presented. The Minister of Education, Dr. Athena Michaelidou, will deliver the welcome address, and Professor Stamatios Krimizis, President of the Academy of Athens, will be the keynote speaker. Awards will be presented by the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, Dr. Nikodimos Damianou.

2nd Graduation Ceremony

Date & Time: June 27, 20:00
Location: Nicosia Municipal Theatre
This ceremony will celebrate the graduation of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students from the School of Engineering. The Minister of Transport, Communications, and Works, Mr. Alexis Vafeades, along with the President of the Scientific and Technical Chamber, Mr. Constantinos Konstanti will address the ceremony.

3rd Graduation Ceremony

Date & Time: June 28, 20:00
Location: Nicosia Municipal Theatre
The final Graduation Ceremony will honor graduates from the School of Education and Social Sciences, the School of Health Sciences, the School of Business and Law, and the School of Arts, Communication, and Cultural Studies. The Minister of Health, Mr. Michalis Damianos, will offer a welcoming address.
At all ceremonies, the President of the Council of Frederick University, Mrs. Natassa Frederikou, and the Rector of the University, Professor Giorgos Demosthenous, will deliver greetings.
