Welcome to the Fall Semester 2024! As the lessons of the new academic year begin, the Studies and Student Welfare Service would like to take this opportunity to wish you every success in your studies!

We are contacting you in order to inform you of the necessary procedures that need to be followed before the start of the new academic year, in order for you to be considered a registered student before classes begin on Monday, September 30.

Each Department’s Registration Schedule can be found at the end of the announcement.

Course registration for continuing students will take place from Monday 16 to Friday 20 of September.

Below are the steps you need to follow to complete your semester registration.

STEP 1: Registration to Fall 2024 semester

We would like to remind you that in order to register for Fall 24, you are required to settle your outstanding balance (if applicable) and prepay the first instalment of your Fall 24 tuition fees as per your agreed payment plan.

All statements of balance were circulated by our Finance Department.

Attention: Please provide the following information on the payment details so we can track your payment without any delay and proceed to activating your account immediately. For each payment you need to include:
1. Student full name
2. Student Registration or ID Number

Registration for courses will be possible the day after the payment of fees. In case the payment cannot be made in the above ways, you can visit the University Cashier during working hours 08:00-16:00 and pay in cash, by check or by credit card.  

STEP 2: Meet your Academic Advisor and Register to Courses

Consultations with Academic Advisors for the selection of courses will take place between Monday, September 16 and Friday, September 20 as indicated in the document below.

If you are not sure who your Academic Advisor is, you can find out by accessing Extranet → Status.

STEP 3: Confirmation of registered courses

To complete the course registration procedure, you have to login to the University’s Extranet in order to accept and electronically “sign” the Course Registration Form.
Finally, we would like to remind you that classes for Fall 2024 begin on Monday, September 30.

The September 2024 Examination (B’ Examination) for the distance learning programs is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8.

Registration to the courses of the September 2024 Examination is carried out through the Extranet portal (https://extranet.frederick.ac.cy/) until August 24, 2024.

One of the biggest challenges of the first year is the successful transition and adjustment of students from high school / Army to the University. At Frederick University, we want to ensure the academic success of each student.

Therefore, in addition to the support services we provide to our students during their studies, we offer additional activities before the beginning of the academic year in order to help make the transition from Secondary to Higher Education be as smooth as possible.

Ι. Preparatory Program: 4-26 September, 2024


The Preparatory Program is provided at no cost to incoming students and includes:

- Refresh your knowledge: Free intensive courses such as English, Mathematics, Architectural Design, Physics and others, according to your program of study.
- Empower yourself: Workshops for the development of academic and other skills that will equip you with the fundamental tools needed for a smooth transition to the University.
- Recreational and sports activities: Opportunities to explore, connect, and enjoy yourself through fun and engaging activities.

The first day of the preparatory program is Wednesday, September 4, at 10:00.

For first-year students of the Department of Architecture, the preparatory program will begin on Monday, September 9, at 10:00.

II. First Year Orientation Day:


Limassol Campus: Wednesday, 25 September 2024
Nicosia Campus: Thursday, 26 September 2024

All Fall 2024 new students are expected to attend the Orientation Day.

During the Orientation Day, you will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members of your program of study and with Student Welfare Service representatives. In addition, on the same day, you will register to your Fall 2024 courses and gain access to your semester timetable.

The final Orientation Schedule will be posted online soon.

III. Start of Fall 2024 semester

Fall 2024 classes begin on Monday, September 30, 2024. View the Academic Calendar 2024-25 here in order to find out the important semester dates and deadlines.

The 2nd Examination Period for the Academic Year 2023-2024 will take place between September 5 and September 13, 2024.

Students can register online for 2nd Examination courses, through the Extranet. The deadline for rgistration is August 24, 2024. Changes after this date are not possible.

A day full of sports activities and fun games! Get your body measurements and useful tips for a balanced diet plan by Nutritionist Kyriakos Christou and a student of the Physical Education and Sport Sciences program. Don't miss the Live Cooking with healthy snack options and useful tips for meal preparation and construction by Chef Valeria Ioannou.

The sports activities and games are designed by students of the Physical Education and Sport Sciences program.

FitFest is organized by the University's Sports Office, the Physical Education and Sport Sciences program, and the University's Counseling Center.
