STEM DAY for girls aged 9–12 at Frederick University, Limassol

Frederick University is organizing a STEM Day in Limassol, offering girls aged 9–12 the opportunity to explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The STEM Day will take place on Saturday, November 8th, from 10:00 to 13:30 at Frederick University, Limassol. During the event, participants will engage with STEM fields through experiments and fun hands-on workshops in Civil Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, and Physics. In addition, there will be personal development workshops designed especially for girls.

The workshops are carefully designed and delivered by members of the academic and research staff of the School of Engineering, the School of Health Sciences, and the School of Education and Social Sciences of Frederick University, in collaboration with members of the University’s research and student community.

At the same time, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to attend a special session entitled:
“Raising Confident Children: Practical Tips for Parents.”

Participation in STEM Day is free of charge.

However, places are limited and registration is required (first come, first served basis).

STEM Day is offered to girls aged 9–12 as part of Frederick University’s campaign “To all women and girls: Join the Journey in Engineering and Technology”, which aims to address the underrepresentation of women and girls in Engineering and Technology.
