The Department of Psychology and Social Sciences is hosting a compelling talk on relationships, common challenges, and effective solutions, welcoming expert Professor Dr. Brian Canfield as the keynote speaker to the event.

The webinar is titled "Improving your marriage or relationship: common issues and solutions", and it will be held on Friday, November 22nd, at 18:00 via zoom. It will be conducted in English. 

The aim of the webinar is to provide participants with insights into common relationship challenges and discuss on improving communication and connection in marriages or partnerships. The event seeks to equip attendees with tools to enhance emotional intimacy.

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the key issues that affect relationships and advise in order to strengthen and understand their relationships. They will also gain a deeper appreciation of the importance of communication in maintaining a strong, lasting relationship.

Keynote Speaker: Professor Dr. Brian Canfield

Dr. Canfield serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, USA. He is a founding board member of the International Association of Psychology and Counseling (IAPC) and a former President of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Additionally, Dr. Canfield is a past president of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC), and he is a licensed psychologist, clinical mental health counselor, supervisor, and family therapist. With over 40 years of experience as an academic and therapist, Dr. Canfield has extensive expertise in a wide range of mental health, life adjustment, and family relationship issues. He has also presented numerous training workshops in clinical practice both across the United States and internationally.
