Frederick University’s Department of Maritime Transport & Commerce (DMTC) held the first meeting of its Advisory Board for the academic years 2023/24 – 2024/25. The meeting was held on 20th October at our University’s Limassol campus.

The DMTC Advisory Board comprises of select industry leaders with recognized contributions to the Cyprus maritime community and the wider blue economy. The Board’s role is to provide insights which inform the academic curriculum, research programs and skills profile of the graduates, aiming to prepare the next generation of employees for the business challenges of today and the future in the various sectors of the Blue Economy.

Chaired by Associate Professor Angelos Menelaou, Head of the Department of Maritime Transport & Commerce, the distinguished executives sitting on the Advisory Board are:

The meeting, held in the library of the Limassol campus, was highly productive with several agreed areas for action by DMTC. We look forward to delivering the action plan in the following years.
