Scholarships from leading shipping companies for our incoming students

Leading shipping companies offer scholarships and educational opportunities with the aim to support new students pursuing maritime studies at Frederick University, the first University in Cyprus to offer maritime studies.

These scholarships play a crucial role in developing the next generation of maritime professionals in Cyprus, as they are designed to attract and nurture talent in the maritime industry, ensuring a steady influx of skilled professionals. Apart from financial support, they also provide educational opportunities and practical experience through internships as well as partial funding of the maritime students’ annual Summer Field Trip to renowned maritime organizations in Europe, such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Lloyds of London, Clarksons, Baltic Exchange, Intertanko, P&I Club and/or DP World Port facilities.
