New distance learning master program "Applications of Psychology in the School Community"
Frederick University announces the successful evaluation and accreditation of the new distance learning master program "Applications of Psychology in the School Community", by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education.
The MSc in Applications of Psychology in the School Community is offered by the School of Education and Social Sciences. The program aims to educate and train psychologists, educators, and other professionals of related fields, providing them with specialized knowledge and skills grounded in the integration of theory, research, and practical applications of school psychology and other psychology branches in the school community.
As the President of the Department of Psychology and Social Sciences, and Coordinator of the Program, Dr. Natalie Loizidou-Iereidou, says: "We are very pleased with the accreditation of this master program. School psychology is a sensitive field, crucial to the development of healthy people and relationships in our society. Our goal through this program is to psychologists, educators, and other professionals to be able to offer a good quality of life to every student in the school community, and through this support to help them reach their highest potential."
The new distance learning MSc in Applications of Psychology in the School Community will be offered with the new academic semester, starting on September 30, 2024.
