During an emotional ceremony, Frederick University conferred the title of Honorary Doctor of the School of Arts, Communication and Cultural Studies upon the internationally renowned sculptor Costas Varotsos.

Frederick University hosted the conference “Hydrogen for a Clean Future,” which took place on 14 November in Nicosia, in the presence of the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, George Papanastasiou.

Girls aged 9–12 spent a creative day at Frederick University in Limassol, where, through workshops in Robotics, Civil Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics, they were introduced to the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

The Annual Conference of the National Anti-Poverty Network Cyprus (EAPN Cyprus) was successfully held on 6 November 2025 at Frederick University in Nicosia, under the theme “Child Poverty and Mental Health – Perspectives and Challenges.”

As part of its initiatives to achieve gender equality, Frederick University collaborated with the Office of the Commissioner for Gender Equality, the Cyprus Journalists’ Association, the Authority for Radio Broadcasting and Digital Services, and the Press Ethics Committee to establish the Gender Equality Journalism Awards.
