Aυτά τα Χριστούγεννα, στηρίζουμε οικογένειες σε Λευκωσία και Λεμεσό, προσφέροντας είδη πρώτης ανάγκης, παιχνίδια, βιβλία και δωροκουπόνια.

• Λευκωσία, 1-7 Δεκεμβρίου

Στη Λευκωσία, συλλέγουμε παιχνίδια, βιβλία και είδη πρώτης ανάγκης για τα 19 παιδιά (12 κορίτσια ηλικίας 3-6 και 7 αγόρια ηλικίας 4-6) του νηπιαγωγείου Φανερωμένης.

Τα παιδιά θα επισκεφθούν το Πανεπιστήμιό μας την Τρίτη, 12 Δεκεμβρίου όπου ο Άγιος Βασίλης θα τους δώσει τα δώρα.

Είδη Συλλογής:

• Βιβλία (για τις πιο πάνω ηλικίες)*
• Παιχνίδια (για τις πιο πάνω ηλικίες) *
• Τρόφιμα (Αλεύρι, Δημητριακά, Ζυμαρικά, Κονσέρβες, Όσπρια, Παξιμάδια, Mπισκότα)
• Δωροκουπόνια από Υπεραγορές / Φαρμακεία / Βιβλιοπωλεία για την αγορά γραφικής ύλης / εξοπλισμού για τις ανάγκες του Νηπιαγωγείου.
• Χρήματα για αγορά των δωροκουπονιών από την ΥΣΦΜ.

* Μόνο νέα, αχρησιμοποίητα και χωρίς περιτύλιγμα δώρα

Σημεία Συλλογής (μέχρι και 7 Δεκεμβρίου)
• Βιβλία, παιχνίδια και τρόφιμα συλλέγονται στον Χώρο Υποδοχής στο Κεντρικό Κτήριο και στο Κτήριο της Αρχιτεκτονικής.
• Χρήματα / δωροκουπόνια συλλέγονται από τους πιο κάτω:
- Τούλα Δημητροπούλου – Career Office, Δημοκρίτου ισόγειο
- Άντρεα Αθανασίου – Γρ. 37, Κυρίως Κτήριο

• Λεμεσός, 12 & 13 Δεκεμβρίου, ΜΚΟ Funraising Association
  

Κατά τη διάρκεια του Χριστουγεννιάτικου πάρτι που θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη, 12 Δεκεμβρίου στο Πανεπιστήμιο στη Λεμεσό, θα συλλέγουμε διάφορα είδη τα οποία θα δοθούν στη ΜΚΟ Funraising Association, το οποίο είναι αφοσιωμένο στη στήριξη παιδιών και της εκπαίδευσής τους. Παρέχει φροντιστηριακά και βραδινά μαθήματα για παιδιά σχολικής ηλικίας και για φοιτητές/τριες, υποστήριξη σε παιδιά με ψυχοσυναισθηματικές δυσκολίες, καθώς και υποστήριξη σε οικογένειες για την κάλυψη βασικών αναγκών.

Είδη Συλλογής (12 & 13 Δεκεμβρίου)
• Ρούχα και παπούτσια (για παιδιά και ενήλικες), νέα ή μεταχειρισμένα σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση
• Δωροκουπόνια
• Παιχνίδια
• Βιβλία

Ας κρατήσουμε ζωντανό το πνεύμα των Χριστουγέννων!

You may not be Santa, but you can be a great giver! This year, we are supporting families in Nicosia and Limassol, by donating goods, toys, books and coupons which will directly reach children and their families in need. 

• Nicosia, 1-7 December

This Xmas we are collecting toys, books and essentials for the 19 students of Faneromeni Nursery (12 girls aged 3-6 and 7 boys aged 4-6).

The children will visit us on Dec. 12 and Santa will hand out the toys donated for them. 

You can donate:
• Books
• Toys
• Dry food
• Grocery gift cards / Pharmacy stores gift cards / Bookstores gift cards

All gift donations must be new, unused and unwrapped.

Collection points (until Dec. 7): Main Building Entrance, Nicosia and Architecture Building 

PLEASE NOTE THAT: Monetary donations will also be accepted,  to cover kindergarten expenses and grocery shopping for the families. All monetary donations are collected by colleague Toula Dimitropoulou (Career Office, Demokritou str.), colleague Andrea Athanasiou (Office 37, Main Building) and colleagues Tonia Mantzoura and Joanna Charalambous (Architecture Building). 

• In Limassol, 12&13 December 

During the Xmas Party at our Limassol Campus on Dec. 12, we are collecting a variety of items which will be given to the Funraising Association, a charitable, non-profit organization in Limassol, dedicated to supporting children on their educational journey! The Funraising Association supports children in need of tutorials and evening classes and also supports the ones who wish to follow University studies. It also offers support to kids with severe health issues. Lastly, it provides families with the basic essentials, clothes and shoes.

You can donate:
• Clothes and shoes (children and adults of all ages), new or in used in mint condition
• Toys
• Books
• Coupons

Please make your donations and keep the Xmas spirit alive.

Oι τελικές εξετάσεις του χειμερινού εξαμήνου 2023 για τα εξ αποστάσεως προγράμματα σπουδών θα πραγματοποιηθούν μεταξύ 17 - 25 Ιανουαρίου 2024.

Σημαντική Υπενθύμιση: Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στις τελικές εξετάσεις έχουν μόνο οι φοιτητές/τριες που ολοκληρώνουν τη διαδικασία ταυτοποίησης (identification) μέσα από την Extranet.

Apply for the Joint Master‘s in Marine Biotechnology offered by the European University Alliance, EU-CONEXUS, of which Frederick University is a full member! The open call for Erasmus Mundus scholarships is available now until January 31, 2024.

Build your European network for marine biotechnology and tailor your career through one of four specialization tracks: (1) Innovative Bioproducts for Future; (2) Blue Biomass; (3) Marine Biorefinery; (4) Aquaculture Biotechnology.

The courses of the program start in September 2024 and the language of instruction is English. Students will have the opportunity to study in EU-CONEXUS’ partner Universities in Spain (La Universidad Catolica de Valencia) and France (La Rochelle University) and one of the other Universities that participate in the programme: Agricultural University of Athens (GR), Catholic University of Valencia (ES), Klaipeda University (LT), La Rochelle Université (FR), University of Zadar (HR), Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (RO).
